About Odds n' Eds

As long as I can remember, I was fascinated with constructing things and shadowed my grandfather, a self-made, sturdy Connecticut Yankee, as he built chicken coops, fences and sheds.  

As a young man on college break in 1990, I began using this lifelong passion and acquired building skills to help put myself through school. My first major job was building a deck on my sister and brother-in-law’s newly purchased home.  A shed and picket fence soon followed.  Shortly after, with a flyer posted at the local market advertising services for "Any job you'd rather not do", Odds-n-Ed's was born and grew each subsequent summer.  During a 16 year stint with corporate America after college, I continued to work weekends on projects big and small, building a customer base of over 75 families. 

 Now specializing in custom decks, sheds, fences, patios and retaining walls full time, I still adhere to the small town approach and personally work directly with the homeowner from design through completion.
